Latinx Businesses/Brands I Want To Support This Hispanic Heritage Month 2020 (131 Latinx Brands)

September 15 – October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month. This year I wanted to invest in my community by supporting Latinx Owned Businesses all month long. I also have a focus on supporting more businesses located in Puerto Rico. This support will be in the form of: purchasing items from the business; bringing awareness to the brand; and sharing their business on my social media platforms. There are currently 131 businesses/brands on this list. However, expect that number to grow throughout the month.  I hope this list is helpful in case you want to support a Latinx brand/business but do not know where to start. Let me know if there…

31 Days of Halloween 2019: Danny Phantom

Growing up, I used to love watching cartoons. Butch Hartman is an animator who made a couple of my favorite shows back in the early 2000’s. One of them being Danny Phantom. I thought I would create my own version of Danny (or as I like to call her…Daniela) Phantom. Makeup Level: Beginner Friendly Length of Time: 1.5 hours (includes wig installation) Makeup Needed: Light Foundation (preferably lighter than yourself). I used a mixture of my CoverFX foundation in G40 with the white paint from Mehron’s Paradise Makeup AQ – 8 Color Palette. Black eyeliner – I used a tightline from PixiBeauty. If I did this look again, I would…

    September 2019 Boxyluxe Unboxing

It has been quite some time since I have done an unboxing. I used to love unboxings. The anticipation and excitement of opening a box and seeing what I got used to mean everything to me. I am not sure if it because my love of makeup is evolving into “less is more”, but I started to no longer enjoy them. However, I thought I would try unboxings again and see if it will spark a creative makeup bug in me again. Now I L O V E Boxycharm. It is by far the one subscription service I do not see myself taking a break from. Once they announced Boxyluxe,…

My Mom’s First Time Out of the Country

Hey Loves! I just came back from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with my mom and I wanted to share some of our highlights from the trip. I was originally going to travel alone, however, I decided to take my mom with me. It was her first time going to an international country. The only time she went to another “country” was when she was really young and my grandparents took her to Niagara Falls (which does not really count). This was the first time she had to go through the customs process. Oh…and my mom also has Multiple Sclerosis, which makes planning trips interesting and challenging. We have to make…
