My Mom’s First Time Out of the Country

Hey Loves! I just came back from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with my mom and I wanted to share some of our highlights from the trip.

I was originally going to travel alone, however, I decided to take my mom with me. It was her first time going to an international country. The only time she went to another “country” was when she was really young and my grandparents took her to Niagara Falls (which does not really count). This was the first time she had to go through the customs process.

Oh…and my mom also has Multiple Sclerosis, which makes planning trips interesting and challenging. We have to make sure where we are going is accessible as she does walk with a cane. I did not want to give away too much of her experience since my sister and I are trying to get her to start her own blog. Would you read it?

We stayed at the Majestic Colonial Resort and I cannot recommend it enough. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is H U G E!!!!! There are various places where you can get food. The entertainment is an A+. There was water aerobics/Zumba, pole dancing in the pool, cycling in the pool, beach volleyball, darts, foam parties, beach parties, karaoke nights, etc. There was no way for us to be bored. Even if you try to bore yourself, the Animation Team at the Majestic Colonial will make sure that will not happen.

We had so much fun that we are already planning our trip to go back.
